It’s May…Day! Episode 02 of the TST Project Mix Sessions is out!

May there be MAYDAY! Episode 02 of the TST Project’s “Mix Sessions” series is out and it gets you right back to the smoke, strobes and lasers of the nineties Mayday rave culture. Members of Mayday, Westbam, Marusha and all the biggest Mayday artists with their huge rave bangers in 54 minute, 160 bpm mixset with 16 tracks. These are the tracks I fell in love with when I was starting my DJ and music career and they still bring a big smile on my face every time I play them!

Like every mix in the “Mix Sessions” series, “May There Be Mayday” is available in both Mixcloud and Youtube.

TST Project’s new “Mix Sessions” DJ Mix series launched – episode 01 out now!

TST Project is proud to present “Mix Sessions”, a new DJ mix series that will present an adventure through several sub-genres of electronic music. The series will have a new episode around once a month and each episode will have a dedicated theme that has played some important part in TST Project’s DJ and music career. The theme can vary from a specific genre to a specific period of dance music or just a bunch of tracks over the years that fit well together. The whole mix series will most certainly be somewhat emphasized to history and classics for the simple reason that very few tunes from the recent years have yet earned a special meaning for me. There might be few relatively new tracks included in some episodes, but do not expect a “hottest EDM tracks right now!”-type episode in this series. The mixes will mostly be done with modern equipment (Traktor DJ and Traktor S4 controller) but I am also considering doing one episode using my turntable and CD players, we’ll see.

All episodes / mix sets in the series will be published in TST Project’s official YouTube channel as well as in MixCloud. You can get notified about the new episodes in the series by subscribing to the YouTube channel or following TST Project in Mixcloud as well as of course following me in Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.

And what would be the most suitable way of promoting the Mix Sessions series than releasing the first episode right away! The first episode, titled “All Time Trance Favorites” can be found now in YouTube and MixCloud. The mix is around 1 hour and 15 minutes long and as the title suggests, it consists of thirteen TST Project’s personal favorite trance tracks of all time. While many of the tracks in the mix are also considered huge trance classics by the wider audience, each one of them also have a special personal story in my DJ and music history and have remained in my DJ sets for many years. Hopefully you will enjoy these tracks in the mix as much as I’ve done listening and playing them over the years!

TST Project’s debut album “Illusions of Life” out NOW!

TST Project’s debut album “Illusions of Life” is available NOW in internet stores and services worldwide!

You can stream / listen the album in all of the biggest streaming services like Spotify, Google Play and Apple Music as well as buy it to yourself as files from stores like iTunes, Amazon, Google Play Music Store. As always, the complete album is also available as streaming and download completely free of charge through Soundcloud.

The album contains 9 tracks including previously released EP and single tracks as remastered versions as well as 4 completely new tracks. The album represents all aspects of the TST Project sound with a melodic, peaceful atmosphere as a basis for the more vibrant and energetic synth soundscapes and some big room fills and drops.

“Illusion of Life” is a result of over a year’s work at home studio and while I’m not doing this for money or fame, I would very much like to hear your comments about it!
